Will you carry me…by G. Mramor

Stone and Rose

Will you carry me asks the stone of the rose when I am more shadow than man when I have tongued all my hate and have nothing to left to give when I mourn in my foundering darkness and give me all away to rise no more when I speak only death words and see alone with death eyes when hurting is a memory oblivioned and the cracks on my surface are forgotten along with the recollection of my visage when I am passing on weathered by the hard breath of time when I am gone and just a whisper of bones will you carry me asks the stone of the rose
